Church Boys will compete with Himalayan Sherpas for the title
Simara: Newcomer team Church Boys has entered the finals of the Jagdamba 13th Simara Gold Cup. The Church Boys came close to the title after defeating the previous winners NRT 2-0 in the last semi-final match held at the Simara Stadium on Thursday.
Church Boys will compete with Himalayan Sherpas on Saturday for the title. After defeating Makwanpur-11 by 3-0 in the first semi-final match, Sherpa has entered the final.
Church Boys took the lead in the game by scoring a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. Church Boys scored the second goal in the 52nd minute of the game. Church Boys’ defender Kamal Shrestha was declared Man of the Match. He received 10,000 cash for man of the match sponsored by Jyoti Bikas Bank.
