Preparations for Ward Chairman’s Cup begin in Dumrawana
Simara: A ward chairman cup football tournament will be held in Jeetpur Simara sub-metropolitan ward no. The competition is being organized with the participation of teams from 24 wards within the sub-metropolis. Information about the competition has been given by organizing a press conference. The final match of the competition will be held on September 15, said Rabindranath Gurung, president of Sundarbasti Youth Club.
The winner of the competition will get 50 and the runner-up will get 25,000. Gurung informed that the best player of the tournament will be given Rs 5,000 cash. The press conference was attended by ward president Ram Prasad Lamichhane, executive member Raj Kumar Ram, ward member Manmaya Ghale, Sumitra Nepali, ward secretary Pradip Regmi and other club officials and locals.
