Regal Resort Hetauda entered the semi-finals of `Manharwa Gold Cup’
Simara: Regal Resort Hetauda has entered the semi-finals of the 3rd Manharwa Gold Cup held at Bara. Hetauda defeated Rautahat Football Club by 5-1 in the match held on Sunday at Mauwadevi Ground located in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city 18.
Elish Chhetri scored a hat-trick in Hetauda’s wide victory. Sudip Sapkota and Saroj Rai scored two more goals for Hetauda. Raju Pahari scored a goal for Rautahat.
Hetauda took the lead in the 10th minute of the game with Sudeep’s goal. But Rautahat’s Raju scored in the 39th minute to tie the game. In the 67th minute of the competitive game, Elish scored a goal to make the game 2-1.
Elish, who took the lead in the game, completed the hat trick by scoring two consecutive goals in the 78th and 81st minutes. Saroj Rai scored the fifth goal for Hetauda. Elish was declared the man of the match. As part of the competition, there will be a match between Hanami FC Chitwan and Birgunj United on Monday.
