Training on making sanitary pads started in Jeetpursimara 14

Simara: Training on making sanitary pads for women entrepreneurship has started in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city 14. The seven-day training has started with the support of Ward Office and Abhiyan Nepal.

Bhola Prasad Adhikari, Deputy Chief of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, inaugurated the training programs. Inaugurating the training, Adhikari said that he is confident that the training will be useful in making women entrepreneurs and self-reliant.

In the program, Ward President Chayan Gurung said that training was organized to make women in the ward self-employed. Ward president Gurung said that every year the ward conducts various programs for women, and this time they are going to trained in making sanitary pads.

In the opening ceremony of the training held under the chairmanship of Abhiyan Nepal President Lakshmi Timilsina, ward members Tejnarayan Chaudhary, Geeta Sarki, trainer Santoshi Shrestha, local Jhapendra Baral and others were present. 50 women are participating in the training.
