House collapsed in Jeetpursimara due to flood
Simara: A resident’s house has been destroyed in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city-2 Shantiole of Bara, after the flood that came with the rain entered the colony. Sunil Sah’s house was destroyed when the flood came in the Bhaangre river after the rain.
Shah is a Police Assistant Inspector of Nepal Police. He is working outside the district. His family members were living in the house. After the flood destroyed the house, the locals and the security personnel rescued the family members, and the process of removing the goods from the destroyed house continues.
On the other hand, the flood swept away a car that was moving in Bajni. A local rescued the people in car after the car was swept away by the flood. The car has been tied to a tree with a rope.
Likewise, Khalka Tole located in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city 5 has been inundated. Hundreds of houses were submerged in the flood after heavy rains. The base camp of the armed police and the health post in the same ward have also been inundated by the rain.
Similarly, on Friday morning, Simara Market, Airport Road, Powerhouse, Narbasti, Bajani was submerged due to the flood that came along with the rain. After the rain stopped, the flood in the market area has decreased. Some schools issued emergency notices and closed the school after the roads became flooded due to rain.
Mayor Rajan Poudel has inspected the flood and inundation affected areas on site. After the flood caused damage at the local level, Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city disaster management committee is preparing to hold a meeting.
