The placement program of seven Lions Clubs of Bara has been completed
Simara: Under Lions International, the placement program of seven clubs of Bara has been completed in Simara on Friday evening. The joint placement program of seven clubs under Zone 34 and 35 within region 17 has been completed.
Lions Club has organized the placement program for the first time in the Bara district. Earlier, the placement program was being held in Birgunj under Area 3.
District 325 S Governor Tasi Dolma Tumbahamfe installed the officers elected for the lion year 2024/25 in a program held under the chief hospitality of Rajan Paudel, Mayor of Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city. In that program, the new members of the Lions Club were also sworn in.
Chief Guest Paudel, Governor Tumbahamfe, Immediate Past District Governor DN Agrawal, First Vice District Governor Binay Basnet, Second Vice District Governor Ram Bihari Pandey, Past District Governor Punam Chand Agrawal, District Executive Chief Basu Timilsina, Area Chief Shyam Kumar Yadav, District Chief Mukunda Bahadur Chhetri were gave a congratulatory speech.
The program started under the chairmanship of Bharat Agarwal, former president of Lions Club of Kalaiya, was concluded by Yuvraj Paudel, president of Lions Club of Simara Jagran. In the program, Zone Chair Person Binay Sah gave a welcome speech and Region Chairperson Krishnabrat Singh gave a vote of thanks. Nilisa Verma, secretary of Lions Club of Simara Youth honored the national flag in the program. The program was facilitated by Zone Chairperson Diwakar Bhandari. In the event, two students of Holy Garden English School in Pathlaiya presented a welcome dance.
