Foundation Stone Laid for Additional Infrastructure at Simara Stadium

Simara: The foundation stone for some additional infrastructure was laid at Simara Stadium in Bara on Friday.

Madhesh Provincial Assembly Member Devnarayan Chaudhary initiated the construction of a boundary wall, a security guard building, and a safety tank with traditional religious rituals.

Chaudhary allocated NPR. 25 Lakh from his Parliamentary Development Fund for the project. With this funding, a boundary wall and a safety tank will be constructed for Prabhu Raji Academy located within the stadium, and the previously unfinished security guard building will also be completed.

The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Deputy Mayor of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City Bhola Prasad Adhikari, Central Member of CPN-UML Saraswati Devi Chaudhary, Secretary of Madhesh Province Manoj Paudel, Deputy Secretary of UML Bara Bhawana Aacharya, and UML leaders Amritlal Shrestha, Kamala Ghimire, President of Nawa Janjagriti Youth Club Ramchandra Lama, Vice President Shankar Thapa, Rajdas Shrestha, and General Secretary Shambhu Singh Thakuri, as well as UML youth leaders Ravindra Khakurel, Hira Basnet, Shukra Shrestha, Ishwar Thapaliya, Ganesh Thakuri and others were also presents.
