Environment Day and Traffic Awareness Week started in Kalaiya
Kalaiya: World Environment Day 2075 and Traffic Awareness Week started in Kalaiya from Thursday.
The program was jointly inaugurated by Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Binod Sah, Chief District Officer of Bara, Basanta Adhikari, Superintendent of Police Santosh Tamang and the Chief Administrative Officer of the Sub-Metropolitan City, Nathu Sah.
Speaking at the inauguration program, Mayor Sah emphasized the environmental protection and compliance with traffic rules should be taken seriously. He highlighted that maintaining a clean environment and ensuring road discipline are key priorities.
The program is being jointly organized by Kalaiya Sub-metropolitan City, Division Forest Office, and District Traffic Police Office.
