A person has died after being hit by a train
Janakpurdham: A person has died after being hit by a train on the Janakpur-Jayanagar railway line. Binod Sah, a 45-year-old resident of Lakshminiya village in Dhanusha’s Sinurjoda, ward 2, lost his life in the train accident.
The train, which was heading from Janakpur to Jayanagar, had hit Sah at the railway crossing in Deuri of Aurahi village in Dhanusha district. According to DSP Barun Bahadur Singh, spokesperson for Dhanusha police, Sah died on the spot due to the collision.
After the incident, Sah’s body has been kept at the Janakpur Provincial Hospital for post-mortem. The Dhanusha District Police Office has stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
