GenZ Protest Postponed Until Thursday, Roads Reopened

Simara: The protest staged by the GenZ Youth, which had blocked the highway in Bara’s Simara, has been postponed until Thursday.
The GenZ Youth decided to postpone the protest after the administration assured them that those involved in the assault would be arrested and agreed to hold talks.
GenZ Youth leader Kapil Kharel stated that the protest was postponed following a conversation with the administration. According to him, discussions between the police administration and the GenZ Youth are scheduled for Friday.
The youth had staged the protest for the second consecutive day on Thursday, demanding action against those responsible for the assault. The protest had also resulted in a clash with the police, leaving six police personnel and four GenZ Youth members injured.
After the protest was called off, traffic that had been blocked in Simara since 11 a.m. resumed as normal.
