Arbind Sah Arrested for Assault on GenZ Youth in Simara
Simara: Police have arrested Arbind Sah in connection with the assault of GenZ youth in Simara. Sah, a resident of Jeetpursimara 2, was taken into custody on Thursday evening.
According to police spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit, Sah has been detained at the District Police Office, Bara. He is accused of physically assaulting the GenZ youth on Wednesday morning in Simara.
The incident has triggered tension in the area for the past two days. Members of the GenZ community have been staging protests since Wednesday, demanding the arrest of all individuals involved in the assault and appropriate legal action against them.
Police say further investigation is underway.
