Journalist Madhuri Mahato Honored as Best Female Journalist in Madhesh Province
Birgunj: Madhuri Mahato, a journalist from Birgunj, has been honored as the best female journalist in Madhesh Province. The recognition was presented by Radio Dhanusha during a special ceremony organized to celebrate its 6th anniversary in Dhanusha.
Mahato, who serves as the Editor of Madhesh Khabar Online and works for the BBC Nepali Service, was recognized for her significant contributions to society through journalism. During the event, the Chairperson of the Media Council of Madhesh Province, along with Mukesh Kumar Thakur, Chairperson of Radio Dhanusha, presented her with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize.
Mahato has established a strong presence in online media and international broadcasting. The ceremony also honored other notable journalists for their work, including Vijay Sah (Gorkhapatra) from Dhanusha, Manilal BK (Naya Patrika) from Siraha, and Manish Maithil from Radio Mithila.
