Hatemalo Cooperative Distributes Awards on 19th Anniversary

Simara: Hatemalo Saving and Credit Cooperative in Simara celebrated its 19th  anniversary on Wednesday. The cooperative organized a special program at its office to distribute awards and honor its members. The event focused on education, savings, social work, and member recognition.

During the program, the cooperative rewarded two top students (one male and one female) who came first in the four-year bachelor’s degree from community colleges in the city. Their parents were also honored. Additionally, Narayan Bartaula from Jeetpursimara Ward No. 14 received a special award for his outstanding work in society.

Ramchandra Poudel, the President of the cooperative, shared that they honored more than 60 senior citizens at the event. The cooperative also recognized the best regular savers, loan transactors, and a child saver from each of its service centers. An employee named Sunil Patel was also rewarded for his good work.

Many important guests attended the event. These included Provincial Assembly Member Devnarayan Chaudhary, Deputy Mayor of Jeetpursimara Bhola Prasad Adhikari, and Chief of the Area Administration Office Rajendra Prasad Kandel. Mohan Sharma, President of the Jeetpursimara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and former president Yagya Bahadur Ale were also present.

The program was chaired by President Poudel. Secretary Chudamani Gautam ran the event, while Audit Committee Coordinator Ale welcomed the guests, and Vice President Mankumari Khanal gave a thank-you speech.

To celebrate its anniversary, Hatemalo Cooperative had also previously organized other events, including a blood donation program, a discussion with child members, and a lamp-lighting ceremony.
