Sachita Chaudhary Laid to Rest 26 Days After Death in Japan

Simara: The funeral of 20-year-old Sachita Chaudhary of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City 19 was held on Thursday, 26 days after her death in Japan on Jestha 17.

Her body was brought back to Nepal from Japan and cremated in her village. The body arrived at her home in Thulo Materiya, Jeetpursimara 19, on Wednesday.

Sachita was the daughter of Sushil Chaudhary and Alaupiya Chaudhary, vice secretary of the CPN-UML Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan Committee.

Before the funeral, the local CPN-UML committee paid tribute to her, and party leaders and members attended the ceremony. Chaudhary had gone to Japan for higher education and was studying at Osaka Hospitality Academy. She was also a fashion designer.

According to reports, she died of a heart attack. After her death, a fundraising campaign was launched in both Japan and Nepal to bring her body back home due to financial difficulties.
