Jeetpursimara Women’s Football: Tribhuvan Army Club Reaches in Final

Simara: Tribhuvan Army Club reached the final of the Jeetpursimra Women’s Football Tournament after a huge win in the first semi-final. On Wednesday night at Simara Stadium, the departmental team defeated the host team, Simara Veteran Club, 15-0.
Army dominated the game from the start, with Chandra Bhandari, Pratikshya Thakuri, and Sukriya Miya each scoring a hat-trick. Chandra Bhandari scored four goals in the first half alone to complete her hat-trick, while Pratikshya Thakuri and Sukriya Miya scored two goals each, giving Army a strong lead early on.
Army kept up their strong attack in the second half and added seven more goals. Pratikshya Thakuri and Sukriya Miya each scored one more goal to complete their hat-tricks. Additionally, Chandra Bhandari and Jennifer Rana Magar scored two goals each in the second half, while Tulasa Bohora added one goal.

Chandra Bhandari was named the ‘Player of the Match’ for her outstanding performance. She received her award jointly from Shivaji Prasad, Under Secretary of the Education and Sports Division of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, and Dayakrishna Bhatta, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office in Simara.
The second semi-final match of the tournament will take place on Thursday between defending champions Nepal APF Club and Nepal Police Club.
