Mayor Poudel took office, committed to provide free uniforms to basic level students

Simara: Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city chief Rajan Poudel took charge on Monday. Poudel, who was sworn in on Sunday along with District Judge and Chief Electoral Officer of Bara Khilnath Regmi, took charge.

Taking over the post, Mayor Poudel has expressed his commitment to distribute free uniforms to the basic level students enrolled in the community schools. Mayor Poudel said that he is committed to provide free uniforms to the students enrolled in classes 1 to 5.

Before taking office, he had honored the families of the martyrs of the People’s War. Poudel, who gave a brief response to the media after taking office, became emotional remembering the people’s war. Remembering the people who went missing and lost their lives during the people’s war, Mayor Poudel said that he had managed to reach the city mayor of the sub-metropolis on the strength of the people’s war.

Mayor Poudel built his office in place of the Judicial Court Room.

Newly elected mayor Rajan Poudel has relocated the Judicial Court Room of the sub-metropolitan to the upper floor, making it his office.

Poudel, who is not sitting in the room of the outgoing mayor, has made his office by shifting the Judicial Court Room to the meeting hall.

The Judicial Court Room has been shifted to the meeting room after the chief sat in the judicial sitting room adjacent to the office of the city deputy chief. Mayor Poudel has made the office of the outgoing deputy mayor a ‘waiting room’.

After making the office of the deputy chief a ‘waiting room’, preparations have been made to make the office of the outgoing mayor the office of the newly elected deputy chief Bhola Prasad Adhikari. After taking oath in the sub-metropolis on Monday afternoon, the deputy chief officer will take charge in the office of the then mayor.
