Ward Chairman dies in Simraungadh
Kalaiya: The chairman of Simraungadh Municipality Ward No. 8 has passed away. Damodar Sah Kalwar, 52, died of encephalitis.According to the Simraungadh Municipality, Kalwar died while undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu. Kalwar, who was taken to Birgunj for treatment due to health problems, was taken to Kathmandu on July 4.
Kalwar is a district committee member of the CPN-Maoist Center. Chairman of the Maoist Center Kshetra Bahadur Shrestha has issued a statement expressing grief over the incident.
