Patriarchal condolences to Upadhyay, Central Secretary of Press Chautari
Simara: Kamal Kumar Upadhyaya, central secretary of Press Chautari Nepal and former president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bara, is mourning his father. Upadhyaya’s father Nawaraj Upadhyaya died at the age of 84 on Monday morning.
Upadhyay, who is also the editor-in-chief of Kripa Daily, was undergoing treatment after falling ill due to high blood pressure. Upadhyay, who was paralyzed due to high blood pressure, was undergoing treatment at Nilkantha Hospital in Birgunj.
The family has informed that Upadhyaya will be cremated in Bagmati. Upadhyaya is the editor-in-chief of Kripa Daily, which has been publishing from Bara since 2060 BS.
Similarly, Press Chautari Nepal, Bara has issued a condolence statement on the demise of Upadhyaya and expressed its condolences to the bereaved family.
