Lamsal selected as the president of HTA

Simara: Arjun Lamsal has been elected as the president of Bara Hotel and Tourism Professionals Association. Lamsal, who is in charge of the senior vice president, was unanimously elected as the president at the Simara convention on Wednesday.

The convention elected a 23-member working committee headed by Lamsal. Shambhu Khadgi as a first vice president, Prahlad Upreti as a second vice president, general secretary Govind Gahatraj, secretary Prabhat Sigdel, joint secretary Krishna Adhikari and treasurer Kalyani Gautam have been elected.

Similarly, the working committee members include Bimalraj Bharti, Ramkrishna Ghimire, Gyanendra Karki, Ajay Zargamgar, Munnalal Sah Kalwar, Karna Bahadur Karki, Sushila KC, Sarju Thapa, Yuvprasad Gautam, Hemlal Gautam, Jayaprakash Thapa, Sharmila Shah, Sommaya Rumba, Fulmaya Rumba, Binod Prasad Jaishwal and others.

Upreti in the chairmanship of the cooperative

Likewise, the fourth annual general meeting of the hotel and tourism cooperative organization run by the association has also been completed. The general assembly elected a nine-member board of directors under the leadership of Prahlad Upreti, who was elected as the second vice president of the association.

Vice president Vinod Prasad Jaiswal, secretary Shambhu Khadgi and treasurer Mira Thapa were unanimously elected as board of directors. Similarly, Prem Thakuri, Gyanendra Karki, Vinita Regmi, Harihar Shrestha, Manoj Prasad Gupta have been selected as members of the committee.

Laxman Adhikari has been selected as the coordinator of the audit committee of the organization, Susmit Gautam and Surya Lama as members.
