Subodh Memorial Journalism Award will be presented to Journalist Gupta
Simara: Prateek Daily will award this year’s Subodh Memorial Journalism Award to Bimala Gupta, a female journalist from Birgunj. The meeting chaired by Jagdish Prasad Sharma, Editor-in-Chief of Prateek Daily, decided to give the award to Gupta, established in the memory of photojournalist Late Subodh Singh.
The prize of Rs 51,000 will be awarded at the annual festival program of Prateek Daily on 1st of Bhadra. Journalist Gupta is associated with Nagarik Daily and Parsa Online.
Similarly, Prateek Daily has decided to reward Dharmendra Chaurasiya for this year’s best reporter, Kumar Rupakheti for columnist and Mohammad Tabrej Hawari for staff.
Prateek Dainik has been awarding one journalist every year with Subodh Memorial Journalism Award.
