Simara: Jeetpursimara City Hospital has launched a free screening service for the detection of cervical cancer. Giving high priority to women’s health security amidst rising cancer risks, the service aims to identify the disease in its early stages to ensure timely treatment.

According to the hospital, this service will be available every second and fourth Friday of the month from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Targeted specifically at women over the age of 30, the screening is provided entirely free of charge.

No advance appointment is necessary for the test, as the hospital has arranged for patients to easily access the service by simply arriving during the designated hours. Health workers noted that the screening is conducted using the simple and effective VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) method, which plays a vital role in detecting risks before symptoms even appear.

This initiative is expected to expand healthcare access for women from rural and underprivileged backgrounds. Furthermore, the hospital clarified that they will provide additional treatment, counseling, and further testing if required after the initial screening.

The hospital administration has called upon all women in the target age group to take advantage of this service without delay and remain proactive about their health.
