Kisan Shrestha from United Socialist in Bara Region No. 4

Simara: According to the division between the coalition, CPN United Socialist Party has decided to make Krishna Kumar (Kisan) Shrestha a candidate in Bara Region No. 4.

After the division between the coalition ended on Friday night, the Socialist Party has nominated Shrestha while finalizing the names of 19 candidates of the party for the House of Representatives in Bara.

Between the coalition, it was agreed to take Bara region No. 4 United Socialist and Region No. 1 Nepali Congress, while Region No. 2 and 3 were kept vacant for coordination.

Shrestha, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Tanhu 1 and defeated Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel in the 2074 election as a candidate from the CPN-UML, went to the socialist side after the split of the UML. Along with joining United Socialist, he also became the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Shrestha, who has invested in hotels and industry along with land transactions in Bara, had already been active by announcing that he would contest the election from Region No. 4.
