Lighting a lamp in Jitpur to pay homage to the self-immolated Acharya
Simara: A lamp was lit in Jitpur on Wednesday evening to pay homage to Prem Prasad Acharya, who committed self-immolation in Kathmandu.
Jitpursimara City Industry and Commerce Association has lit the lamp. The event was attended by local traders and businessmen along with union officials.
He has also drawn the attention of the Nepal government to create an atmosphere that does not allow such incidents to happen again during the lamp lighting program. The officials of the union said that the situation of traders and businessmen is getting worse day by day and the government needs to take concrete steps.
