An old woman who had been missing for four days was found dead
Simara: An old woman from Bara Nijgadh, who was missing for four days, has been found dead. 72-year-old Kanchhimaya Ghalan of Nijgadh Municipality 12 Bungjor was found dead on Tuesday evening.
Her body was found near the house covered with tree leaves. She was missing since Saturday. Locals informed the police after seeing the body covered with leaves near the house. The police have sent the dead woman’s body to the provincial hospital in Kalaiya for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the police have detained the younger son of the deceased woman. Police Inspector Sanjeeb Oli of Nijgadh Area Police Office has informed that the son, who has been unknown since the day of the woman’s disappearance, has been detained by the police from Hetauda. The police said quoting locals that the mental balance of the younger son is not good.
