Lions Club of Simara Youth lifted the title of Inter Lions Futsal Tournament
Simara: Lions Club of Simara Youth won the title of the first Inter Lions Futsal Tournament held in Birgunj. Simara Youth won the title by defeating Lions Club of Kalaiya in the final of the tournament held at our Futsal in Birgunj.
While lifting the title, Simara Youth defeated Kalaiya by a wide margin of 9-0 in the final match. Diwakar Bhandari, the president of the year 2022/23, alone scored five goals for Simara, who entered the final by defeating the Lions Club of Birgunj Millennium 6-0. Similarly, Umesh Chaulagai scored three goals and Ramesh Subedi scored one goal.
Lions International District 325 S Governor DN Aggarwal, Secretary Basu Timilsina distributed trophies and certificates to the winning and runner-up teams. Agarwal handed over the trophy to Trilok Bikram Shah, president of the winning club Simara Youth.
The Lions Club of Bara and Parsa participated in the competition organized by the Lions Club of Birgunj family. Lions Club Simara Youth, Kalaiya, Birgunj Family, Birgunj Millennium, Adarshnagar and others participated in the competition.
