Two co-operative societies were robbed in the same night in Simara

Simara: In Simara, two cooperatives were robbed at once on Thursday night. The theft occurred at Simara Women’s Savings and Credit Cooperative and Janakalyan Intermediate Savings and Credit Cooperative located in Jeetpursimara 2.

The money could not be stolen from both the cooperatives, which are located at a distance of about 200 meters. After breaking the lock and entering the office, the thieves did not find the money and stole the hard disk of the CC camera.

The thieves who entered by removing the grill of the window broke the vaults and drawers where money is kept in the public welfare cooperative and threw the documents everywhere. After not finding the money in the vault and drawer, the thief stole the camera’s harddisk.

On the other hand, the nature of the theft in Simara Women’s Cooperative is the same. The thief broke the lock of the chain gate and entered after not finding the money thief stole the camera’s hard drives.

This is the second time that Simara Women’s Cooperative has been robbed. Earlier, on 12th Shawan 2079, there was a theft for the first time in the said cooperative. At that time, the hard disks of the CC camera were also taken away.

Lately, there has been an increase in thefts in cooperatives and financial institutions in Jeetpursimara. Earlier, lakhs of rupees were stolen from two cooperative societies of Manharwa. 12 lakh 74 thousand rupees was stolen from the Sana Kisan Agricultural Cooperative Society located at Jeetpursimara 18 Manharwa on 19th Ashad 2079.
