Pistol carried by Senior Deputy Inspector goes missing

Simara: The pistol carried by Senior Deputy Inspector Pujya Bc, head of local police office at Amlekhgunj, has gone missing. The pistol carried by Bc was lost on Monday from Chakri Jungle area located at Jeetpursimara 22.

10 rounds of bullets are loaded in the pistol. A police team led by Bc reached Chakri area after receiving information that illegal drug was being trafficked. Bara Police Spokesperson Dadhiram Neupane said that while trying to chase the smuggler, it was reported that the pistol was lost.

“We have received information that a pistol has been lost during the operation,” spokesperson Neupane said, “Now the search for the pistol is underway.” But till the time of preparing this news, the missing pistol has not been found.
