10 lakhs to two students studying MBBS, education and health priority: Nagar Chief Singh

Simara: City chief Jalandhar Singh of Pachrauta municipality gave 10 lakhs to two students studying MBBS on Tuesday.

In a program organized on the occasion of the completion of one year of being elected as a representative of the people, the mayor Singh gave money as a study scholarship.

Mayor Singh handed over a cheque of 10 lakhs to Nisha Chaurasiya of Pacharuta 5 and Anshu Raj of Ward No. 1 at the event. Both Nisha and Anshu are students studying in MBBS.

The students who received the scholarship expressed their happiness that they have fulfilled the promises made by Mayor Singh during the election. The students said that the mayor gave priority to the education sector.

In the program, Mayor Singh has also handed over support to cricket players who will play in national level tournaments. For cricket training, Singh handed over a cheque of Rs 2 Lakh 25 Thousand to Bhulan Sahani, Rs 1 Lakh 50 thousand to Sushant Singh, Rs 1 lakh to Sahajad Hussain Ansari, Rs 65 thousand to Abhay Kumar Singh and Rs 60 thousand to Sameer Ansari.

Likewise, City Chief Singh has handed over 126 fans to various schools within the city area.

Deputy Chief Nasima Khatun, Chief Administrative Officer Mahesh Kumar Mishra, Ward President Lakshmi Yadav, Education Branch Co-ordinator Mukesh Kumar Singh, Ward Presidents of other wards, executive members and others were present in the program.
