The 15th Annual General Meeting of Hatemalo Cooperative was held

Simara: The 15th Annual General Meeting of Hatemalo Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Limited has been completed on Saturday. 101-year-old Nokkrishna Mulmi, the senior member of the organization, inaugurated the general meeting held at the Thanimai Forest Consumer Committee in Simara.

In the opening program of the general assembly, the outgoing members of the provincial assembly, Sita Gurung, Shobha Lama, city deputy chief of Jitpursimara sub-metropolitan city Bhola Prasad Adhikari, central director of Nepal Savings and Credit Central Cooperative Association (Nefskun) Hareram Patel, Jitpursimara sub-metropolitan ward no.1 President  Hira Bahadur Gurung, ward no. 21 president Subas Shrestha and others gave speeches.

Speaking at the general assembly, the outgoing member of the provincial assembly, Gurung, said that the role of participants in building a prosperous society is important. Similarly, another outgoing member of the provincial assembly, Lama, said that the role played by the self-sufficient and participating sector in earning a living should be appreciated.

The city deputy chief officer of the sub-metropolitan city said that he is ready to move forward through institutional cooperation with the cooperative sector. Stating that the Deputy Metropolitan Municipality is proceeding with plans to address various sectors of the society, the Deputy Chief Officer appealed to the organizations active in the social sector for cooperation.

The Deputy Chief Officer said that since the beginning of the establishment, various programs have been conducted targeting the members and Hatemalo Cooperative has succeeded in establishing itself as the best cooperative in the country. He suggested that all cooperatives within the sub-metropolitan city should focus on the principles of cooperatives for economic and social transformation.

In the program, the central director of Nefskun Patel, ward no.1 Chairman Gurung, ward no.22 Chairman Shrestha and others gave their views. Secretary Deepak Bhatt facilitated the program under the chairmanship of Yagya Bahadur Ale, president of the organization. Senior Vice President Sanjay Shah delivered the welcome speech at the event.

In the opening session of the cooperative, representatives of various political parties, representatives of organizations, representatives of the cooperative sector, and share members were present. In the opening session, there was also a musical performance by the students of different schools.
