Lotus Academy won the title of ‘8th Lotus Inter-School Football Tournament’
Simara: The organizer Lotus Academy has won the title of the 8th Lotus Inter-School Football Tournament. Lotus won the title by defeating Holy Garden English School in the final by 1-0.
Samar Thapa of Lotus Academy was declared the best player of the tournament. Similarly, Naman Gurung of Holy Garden School, the highest scorer, Siddharth Mishra of Lotus was declared the best goalkeeper and Gaurav Thapa of Lotus was declared the player of the match.
Harish Prashad Bhatt, Officer of Education, Youth and Sports Division of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, Ram Prasad Adhikari, Principal of Lotus Academy distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up schools.
10 schools participated in the competition which started from Magh 6th. Simara Public, Akshara Pathshala, X Serviceman, Pathibhara Academy, Sana Kisan Shiksha Sadan, Rastriya Bibhuti, Ekta School, St. Alphonsus participated in the competition along with the two finalist teams.
