Lightning thunder damaged Radio Nagrik in Simara
Simara: Lightning thunder that came along with the rain caused damage to Radio Nagrik located in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city 2. Due to lightning thunder, radio’s computers, transmitters, mixers and other equipment were damaged.
According to Basant Sharma, the director of the radio, the equipment was damaged due to lightning thunder that came with heavy rain on Monday afternoon. He said that the radio was turned off after heavy rains started and when they tried to restart it, the equipment did not work.
Sharma also informed that the radio transmission will be stopped until the equipment is repaired.
