A man’s dead body found in Bara
Simara: The dead body of a man from Birgunj was found in the Gandak canal located in Pheta Rural Municipality-1 of Bara. The body of 26-year-old Birendra Sah Sonar of Birgunj Metropolitan City-3 Chhapkaiya was found in the Gandak canal on Thursday morning.
Locals who were walking along the canal informed the police after seeing the body. They were looking for him since the day he did not return home.
According to Bara Police Spokesman Prakash Sapkota, Birendra had left home four days ago to see Musarwa Mela. Bijay Gupta kalwar who lived in his house also went with him. Kalwar is also not in contact.
Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesman Sapkota said that Kalwar, who went with Birendra, has not been contacted so far. Sapkota informed that the investigation of the incident has been started.
