Simara DSP transferred after six months

Simara: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subhadra Lama Waiba of the Area Police Office, Simara has been transferred. The Police Headquarters transferred Waiba on Thursday.
It is understood that Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Joshi will replace Waiba. The headquarters has summoned Waiba to Kathmandu, stating the need to clarify some matters, and is sending another DSP.
Waiba had been assigned to Simara only in last Push. Normally, the tenure of an office chief is set for one year. However, she has been transferred after just six months.
Waiba had recently involved into a controversy with Shantiraj Prasai, the Chief Administrative Officer of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, regarding the distribution of fuel coupons.
