Roof Collapse in Sarlahi Kills Two Workers

Sarlahi: Two construction workers lost their lives on Wednesday evening following a structural collapse at a building site in Malangwa, Sarlahi.
The victims, identified as 50-year-old Chhatu Sah and 40-year-old Rajkishore Yadav, were working on the fourth floor of a house owned by Ranjit Yadav.
According to the District Police Office, the men were busy plastering a concrete slab designed to hold a water tank when the structure suddenly gave way.
The collapse caused both workers to fall from the top floor to the ground, resulting in critical injuries to multiple parts of their bodies. Local authorities and witnesses rushed the injured men to the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa for urgent medical care.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, both men were declared dead during treatment later that evening. Police have initiated a formal investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the structural failure.
