Missing 2-Year-Old Girl Found Safe in Bara After 12 Hour Search

Simara: A two-year-old girl who went missing in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City, Bara, has been found safe and healthy after a 12 hour search.

Bindi Mandal, the daughter of Mukesh Mandal, suddenly disappeared while playing outside her home in Kattiparsa on Saturday evening around 5:30 PM.

Following her disappearance, security forces including the Nepali Army, armed police, and district police led by Superintendent of Police Narendra Kuwar, alongside local residents and trained sniffer dogs, launched an intensive search operation.

On Sunday morning at 5:00 AM, a local woman named Salma Nesha discovered the crying toddler by the roadside in Siswa Maheshpur and immediately notified the authorities.

Found about one kilometer north of her home, the girl was rescued and taken to the Provincial Hospital in Kalaiya for a medical check-up.

According to District Police Office spokesperson DSP Min Bahadur Ghale, the child’s health is normal, and she has now been safely reunited with her family while police continue to investigate the incident.
