Training to make the role of rehabilitation center effective

Simara: A seven-day training program has been organized to rehabilitate drug users in the society. The training program was jointly organized by the District Monitoring and Coordination Committee and the District Administration Office, Parsa in collaboration with Recovering Nepal. The training program was attended by the representatives of the rehabilitation centers in the Madhes states belonging to Recovering Nepal.

Training was given on the treatment of drug users, counseling and the role of organizations in rehabilitating the society. They have been trained with the participation of the representatives working in the organization saying that the campaign to build a drug free society cannot move forward if the counseling and management given by the organization is not effective.

The training program, which was attended by 30 people from across the state, was facilitated by Chief Instructor Rajan KC and Consultant Purna Maharjan. The seven-day training organized by the Recovering Nepal Madhes Pradesh Committee was concluded on Monday.

At the closing ceremony hosted by District Administration Office Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal, General Convention Representative of Recovering Nepal Vinay Lama, Alternate Central Representative Member Rajkumar Lama, Focal Person of Recovering Nepal Madhes Pradesh Jatashankar Giri, Ayush Bhujel and others were present.

The concluding program was conducted by Santosh Thapa under the chairmanship of Gaurav Verma, President of Recovering Nepal Madhes Pradesh.
