CPN-UML: Four aspirants for the post of ward chairman of Jeetpursimara 1, members unanimously
Simara : CPN-UML has decided to recommend the names of four candidates for the post of ward chairman of Jeetpursimara Sub Metropolis Ward no. 1. It has been decided to recommend the names of Hira Basnet, Gaurav Nepal, Subhadra Neupane and Ganesh Shah Thakuri for the post of ward chairman.
The ward committee has decided to recommend the names of the four candidates to the city committee as no consensus could be reached in the meeting held on Saturday. Among the recommended candidates, Basnet was also the candidate for the post of ward chairman in the previous election.
Basnet, who was in the second position in the election of 2074 BS, has submitted his claim for the post of chairperson this time as well. Similarly, Neupane is an executive member and chairman of the Nepal Youth Association Municipal Committee.
The meeting has reached consensus on four other posts besides the ward chairman. The other members agreed upon are Ishwar Thapaliya, Narayan Lama, Laxmi Acharya and Shanti Pariyar.
Thapaliya is the ward committee chairman of UML ward no.1, Lama is the ward committee vice-chairman and Acharya is the district committee member.

Female Member: Lakshmi Acharya
