UML candidate Gupta’s election doorstep in Jeetpursimara 7, Confident of winning the election

Simara: Sunil Gupta, a candidate from the CPN-UML in Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolis-7, has intensified his election campaign. Gupta, who has been campaigning along with the nomination registration, completed the election on Thursday.

UML leaders and activists including city chief candidate Saraswati Devi Chaudhary, deputy chief candidate Bhola Prasad Adhikari and ward chairman candidate Gupta were present at the door. Gupta said that there was an enthusiastic participation of locals at the door.

This is the second time that UML has given a second chance to Gupta, who was defeated by Nepali Congress candidate Rambabu Gupta by 25 votes in the last local level election. Gupta is seen as a strong candidate in the ward.

Gupta, who is also a former UML district committee member, has claimed that he will win the election this time. “We got it from people of ward last year too, but lost due to technical reasons,” Gupta told eShilalekh. I am confident of winning the election. ‘

UML has fielded Navin Mainali, Nurullah Ansari, Sita Upreti and Lalita Devi Paswan in the ward. There are five thousand one hundred and two voters in the ward which has three polling stations.
