Election code of conduct to be implemented from tomorrow

Simara: The code of conduct will be implemented from Wednesday (tomorrow) for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections to be held on Mansir 4. The Election Commission is about to implement the code of conduct published in the gazette on Bhadra 13.

The code of conduct implemented by the commission will be valid from Asoj 12 until the election is over. Applying the Code of Conduct, the Commission urges the persons holding public positions, candidates, political parties, party leaders, media organizations, employees, security personnel, various organizations, educational sectors, etc. to fully comply with it.

In the code of conduct issued by the commission, campaigning time for elections is set at 12 hours. According to the code of conduct, preaching can be done only from 7 am to 7 pm.

Similarly, the Code of Conduct prohibits more than one political party or candidate from holding a program or meeting on the same day, at the same time and at the same place. The code of conduct says not to use logos, stickers with election symbols or flags during election processions or public meetings.

According to the code of conduct, when going to nominate a candidate, the candidate will not be allowed to take more than 25 people. It is mentioned that during the period of the code of conduct, it is not allowed to distribute food or cash.
