Two arrested with fake ballot paper, swastika stamps and cash
Kalaiya: Parsa police have arrested two people with fake ballot paper, swastik and around three lakhs in cash. Among those arrested are Amiri Raut of Bara Kalaiya sub-metropolitan-18 and Rajan Singh of Birgunj-16.
While checking the cars coming from Kalaiya to Birgunj, the joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police arrested them from the road near the bus park. According to the police, 10,000 fake ballot papers, 250 swastik stamps, 48 stamp pads and Two lakh seventy two thousands cash were recovered from the car numbered Ba Pra 1-1025 Cha 6636.
According to the police, out of the fake ballots recovered from them, about 300 ballots were found to have indicated the vote by bicycle stamp. Armed Police Superintendent Tej Prasad Pokharel informed that the police handed both of them to the office of the Chief Election Officer for action along with fake ballot papers and cash.
