Three arrested with 9 lakh fake Nepali rupees in Bara

Kalaiya: Bara police have arrested three people with 9 lakh fake Nepali rupees while bringing them from India to Nepal. Among those arrested are 25-year-old Ranjit Kumar Mukhiya of Bharat (Motihari), 34-year-old Sainullah Ansari of Bara Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan 15 and 36-year-old Binaka Mukhiya Bin of Simraungadh 2.

The police arrested Ranjit with fake rupees and two others on the basis of Ranjit’s statement. Four days ago, Ranjit, who was coming on a motorcycle with an Indian number plate, was arrested by the police team of District police office in Simraungadh in Kanakpur tole of Simraungadh municipality 5.

According to Bara Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati, while checking the motorcycle, 9 Lakh was recovered including 1Lakh hidden in the belt of the headman and 8 Lakh hidden under the seat of the motorcycle. After his arrest, Ranjit gave a statement to the police that Sainullah Ansari and Bina’s Mukhiya Bin had given the money.

Superintendent of Police Bogati informed that the police searched and arrested Ansari and Bin on the basis of his statement. Superintendent of Police Bogati said that the arrestee has been remanded in custody by the district court and is being investigated.
