Four youth from Birgunj honored on the occasion of International Youth Day
Simara: On the occasion of International Youth Day, Birgunj Public College (BPC) honored four youth. Four youth active in various fields of society were honored in a ceremony.
The college honored journalist Suryanarayan Bika, journalist Kabita Khadka active in the field of women’s rights, Rajan Srivastava active in the social sector, central member of Manav Sewa Ashram working in humanitarian services and Devesh Gupta, coordinator of Madhesh Pradesh.
College Principal Hariratna Tuladhar and Co-Principal Arbind Shrestha awarded certificates to the youth.
Principal Tuladhar said that the award was given for inspiring young people active in the social sector and adding energy to the students studying in the college.
International Youth Day is celebrated every August 12 in the world.
