Grassroots Football:  Sports equipment Handover to Janata Secondary School

Simara: Grassroots football has started from Thursday in Janata Secondary School located in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan-14. Grassroots football started with the distribution of game materials by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) during a program organized in the school.

ANFA has chosen Janata Secondary School for conducting grassroots football under the central program. Grassroot football will be conducted in the selected schools for seven days in the presence of ANFA. After seven days, the program will be handed over to the school and the school will continue the program.

ANFA vice president Dawa and ANFA grassroot coordinator Pankaj Shahi handed over the game materials to the principal of the school, Raju Adhikari, to conduct the grassroots football. ANFA handed over 80 jerseys, 20 balls and other materials to the school.

Along with sports materials, ANFA will provide nutritious food (diet) and four coaches to the students participating in grassroots football for seven days. The Bara District Football Association will coordinate at the local level to conduct grassroots football.

Rajan Poudel, Mayor of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, Jeetpursimara 14 Ward President Sanjan Gurung, President of Bara District Football Association Ramchandra Lama, President of Jeetpursimara City Industry and Commerce Association Mohan Sharma Lamichhane, General Secretary Prakash Giri, Former President of Nawa Jan jagriti Youth Club Rajkumar Bhattarai, Teacher Barun Gautam and others were present at the grassroots football launch and distribution of sports materials. The program was completed under the chairmanship of Lama, the president of the Bara District Football Association.
