A woman was injured in a tiger attack in Nijgadh forest

Simara: A woman was injured in a tiger attack on Tuesday in the Nijgadh forest of Bara. About 45-year-old Dilkumari Pulami of Nijgadh Municipality 11 is among the injured.

She was attacked by a tiger when he went to graze goats in the Tapobhumi community forest area. Her chest and hand were injured in the attack. According to the doctor, her condition is out of danger.

He was attacked from behind while grazing goats. As soon as the tiger attacked, the others who went with them started screaming and the tiger ran away. After the incident, the locals rescued Dilkumari and brought her to Nijgadh hospital. The injured woman is currently being treated in Nijgadh. The tiger that attacked the woman also killed three goats at the same place.

Earlier on Monday, 40-year-old Kalawati Khatri of Mali Basti of Thori Rural Municipality 4 died after being attacked by a tiger on Monday afternoon in Thori, Parsa.
