Interaction on the Opportunities and Challenges of Nonresident Citizenship in Texas, USA
Simara: An interactive program on the opportunities and challenges of non-resident citizenship has been completed under the organization of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRN) Texas Chapter. In a program held on March 30th at the meeting restaurant in Irving, Texas, the legal procedures and opportunities required for obtaining non-resident citizenship provided by the Nepalese government were discussed.
Saroj Dahal, focal person of NRN, facilitated the program in which about 40 people participated. Dahal explained the paperwork and legal procedures required to obtain NRNA citizenship. Addressing the questions of the participants, Dahal also informed about the work that can be done with NRNA citizenship.
In the event, NRNA ICCA General Secretary Gauriraj Joshi discussed the importance of NRN citizenship. NRNA Texas Chapter President Dipendra Guragain presided over the event, NRN NCSICA Treasurer Saroj Sigdel, Nepal American Journalists Association (NEJA) President Suraj Bhandari, Vice President Sujan Pandit, Secretary General Baburam Dahal, NRNA NCSICA Youth Coordinator Tej Binod Paudel, former President of Texas Chapter Sofin Thapa, Journalist Kishan Regmi, Ramprasad Adhikari, a member of the Texas Chapter, informed that the officials and members of the Texas Chapter were present.
