Jeetpursimara Gold Cup: APF in Semi-Finals

Simara: Divisional team Nepal APF Club has entered the semi-finals of the 14th Jagdamba Jeetpursimara Gold Cup held in Simara. APF, who were defeated by Morang in the 8th Birat Gold Cup, defeated Makwanpur by 2-0 while making a good start in Jeetpursimara Gold Cup.

BK Tamang and Pradeep Lama scored one goal each in APF’s victory. Although BK Tamang took the lead in the 30th minute of the game, APF had to fight until the end to win.

Despite a good performance against the strong APF, Makwanpur’s journey came to an end in the first match when they missed some opportunities. Angel Shrestha, the goalkeeper of APF, was declared the ‘Shubharambha Player of the Match’ of the match.

He received 10,000 in cash. He was awarded by Rajkumar Khatiwada, Chief Tax Officer of Inland Revenue Office Simara and Lal Prasad Pudasaini, President of Shubharambha College.

Under the competition, another departmental team, Tribhuvan Army, will play against Machhindra Football Club to enter the semi-finals on Tuesday.
