Orientation to control risk in industrial sector completed
Simara: The Armed Police Force has completed a two-day orientation program for possible disaster risk and response in the industrial sector. The event was organized by Armed Police Force No. 40 Reserve Gana Headquarters Piluwa and Jeetpursimara city Industry and Commerce Association.
In the two-day event, which was inaugurated by Armed Police Force No. 2 Chhinnamasta Bahini Headquarters, Armed Police Deputy Inspector General Dipendra Shah, security principles and control were practiced by creating an artificial disaster.
President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Madhesh Province Ashok Temani, Executive President of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hari Gautam, President of Jeetpursimara city Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohan Sharma, President of Prasauni Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tulasi Gupta, and various industrialists and heads of government offices were also present in the opening program.
In the orientation program, 48 management and security officers working in various industries of Bara and Parsa were present. Addressing the opening ceremony, Shah said that disaster can be mitigated by proper preparation and proper use of equipment after assessing potential risks.
Ashok Temani, President of Nepal Industry and Commerce Association of Madhesh Province, praised the training and said that such training should be conducted regularly in other districts of Madhesh Province in the coming days.
