The truck is seized for carrying customs evasion goods
Simara: Police have seized a truck from Pathlaiya on the charge of carrying customs evasion goods. The police team deployed from Police Station Pathlaiya has taken control of the truck which was going from Birgunj to Kathmandu.
The police said that the truck numbered NA6KHA 8032 was taken into custody as it was carrying more goods than the bill. According to the police, the truck transported hardware parts worth 48 lakh 50 thousand and more than the retail equivalent bill.
The police seized the goods along with the truck and handed it over to the Revenue Investigation Office at Pathlaiya for investigation.
