Distribution of incentive nutritional allowance to pregnant women
Simara: Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 14 office has distributed incentive and nutrition allowance to pregnant women on Friday. In a program held at the ward office, the ward president Chayan Gurung, distributed nutrition allowance to 70 people at the rate of five thousand.
The amount was handed over to the families of the pregnant women. Ward president Gurung said that the ward office has distributed nutritional allowances for the care and diet needed during childbirth and pregnancy.
The ward office had distributed nutrition allowance to 60 women in the ward last year as well. The office has been conducting safe maternal care program in its ward level plan. Pregnant women and their families have been benefiting from the program.
Ward member of ward 14 Yamaprasad Dhakal, Tejnarayan Chaudhary, Geeta Sarki, Ward Secretary Ranju Adhikari, Arjun Shrestha of Health Branch participated in the nutrition allowance distribution program.
