Jeetpursimara Goldcup: Organizer enters in semi-final
Simara: In the 15th edition of the Jeetpursimara Goldcup, The organizer, Nawa Janajagriti Yuwa Club, has reached the semifinals
In a thrilling match held at the Simara Stadium on Saturday night, the organizers secured a 1–0 victory over ANFA Makwanpur, advancing to the final four.
Mohan Gurung scored the decisive goal, leading the organizers to the semifinals. Mohan scored a spectacular goal from outside the box in the 85th minute, giving his team the win.
Mohan was named the Player of the Match and received a cash prize of 10,000. Shailesh Shah Thakuri, the operator of Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., and Dilip Hamal from Omni Motors presented the award to Mohan.
On Sunday, the defending champions, Nepal Police Club, will play against Machhindra Football Club in the tournament.
